Stop Disturbing Me!

Some movies that were popular to others were disturbing to me. I can't stand when I watch a show and it sticks with me like chewing gum on my shoe. It disturbed me.
I remember being treated to a movie in high school. The teacher thought she was treating the class to one of the favorite movies of that year = Mrs. Doubtfire. I had heard about it. It was a great comedy. I found it disturbing and sad. It was not funny. It isn't funny when a family falls apart. Divorce isn't funny. Child custody is not funny. I thought it was sad that this father had to go through what he did just to see his kids. When he is finally discovered for what he really is, he loses his kids. That was very upsetting not funny. The mother ends up taking pity on him and finally lets him see the kids again. I thought it was a very disturbing movie because it mixed humor with horrible events in kids' lives like divorce.
Another movie that was very disturbing to me was = The Terminal. It showed how horrible we can be towards foreigners. Here was a man stuck at the airport due to his country imploding. Instead of us treating him with respect and care = we left him to rot at the airport. He had to eat ketchup and crackers! This was disgusting to watch. I didn't find any of it funny. The treatment of this man by our officials was a disgrace. It was as depression as a World War II movie = showing the poor treatment of Jews during the war. I hate seeing people treated like garbage and nobody caring. It really showed how horrible people can be.
I do wish that they wouldn't make movies like these. They make me sick to my stomach. I wonder if they realize how disturbing these movies really are. They show the terrible side of humanity = the cruel and inhuman side. It is a reality that humanity can be horrible but I hate to see it in a movie.
Don't get me wrong = I do enjoy horror movies. They are so over the top that you have to shake your head at them. At least with them, you know what you are getting. I don't like a humor show to have disturbing humor in it. It's like having a donut and finding a maggot in it. You end up spitting it out!
Take care,
